Yubal Márquez Fleites, born in 1979, is a Cuban-American artist, curator, photographer, poet, entrepreneur, and U.S. Army veteran. He is the founder of Arte Collective, a contemporary art gallery located in Southampton, New York, dedicated to showcasing modern and contemporary art.
Fleites served eight years in the United States Army, an experience that deeply shaped his worldview and commitment to service. Following his military career, he earned a law degree, further expanding his understanding of advocacy and justice—principles that continue to inform his work in the arts and his philanthropic efforts.
From an early age, Fleites exhibited a deep fascination with art and creativity. This passion led him to establish Arte Collective, initially inspired by the need to provide exhibition opportunities for underrepresented and emerging artists.
