
Bryan Paz
Board Member
Bryan Paz is an impassioned advocate for Sun River Health and the work that we do to serve those at or below the poverty line throughout New York. He is an attorney at Jacobowitz and Gubits, LLP practicing with an emphasis in the family and Matrimonial Law area, but also with a depth of experience in other areas of litigation, including both civil and criminal.
Brian attended the University of Pennsylvania, on a full Naval ROTC scholarship after which he went to work for Yellow Freight Systems for almost eighteen years while also earning his B.B.A. in Public Accounting from Pace University in White Plains in 1992, and then his Juris Doctorate degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University in New York City in 1995. Brian was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1996, and subsequently was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, S.D.N.Y. and the Court of Appeals, Federal Court.
In addition to his work on the Sun River Health Foundation Board, Mr. Paz also serves as an Officer and Board Member on several local not for-profit corporations, including the Walden Local Development Corp., and the Wallkill Valley Health Coalition Corp.; he is a former member and past Chairman of the Town of Montgomery Democratic Committee.
Mr. Paz lives in the Town of Montgomery with his wife and twin daughters.
